Spring Pruning w/ the New WORX 8 Amp, 10 Inch Electric Pole Saw

Spring is in the air and that means it’s time to prune and trim the trees. If you’re doing it yourself, consider the WORX® 8A, 10″ Electric Pole Saw—the newest addition to the brand’s line of electric chain saws. The 2-in-1 yard tool has a 10-foot reach and detaches from its extension pole for use as a light-duty chain saw, too.

The saw features a 10″ low-kickback bar and chain, which is driven by an 8-amp motor, and tool-less installation of the extension pole—the handle slips into a snug-fitting sleeve at the end of the pole, and a large knob is hand-tightened to secure the saw.

The unit also incorporates the patented WORX Auto-Chain Tension System—a large dial on the saw’s body that, when turned, sets the proper chain tension to prevent over-tightening. An automatic oiler system provides constant lubrication to both the bar and chain during operation. WORX backs it all up with a three-year warranty. You can pick one up for about $100 at your local home improvement big box or on Amazon.
