Admittedly, here in Florida, we don’t need no stinkin’ snow blowers. In fact, it would appear that Florida has decided to boycott Winter this season. The EGO’s 21″ wide intake can clean snow from most sidewalks in less than two passes, while the variable-speed auger controls how far snow is thrown, with a maximum throwing distance of a whopping 35′. That could be super-fun if you wish to bury your neighbor’s driveway as you clean yours. A convenient handle-mounted chute-adjustment lever allows you to redirect snow output up to 180˚ from side-to-side. The handle also incorporates a safety button and bail switch, which engages and disengages the motor and auger.
The EGO’s weather-resistant, beefy steel, and composite construction is built for aggressive use in demanding conditions, even in the early morning or evening hours, as its two bright LEDs light the way. When your work is done, the quick-fold handle allows for compact storage.
