The 12th Annual HOT ROD Drag Week

It’s time once again for the annual HOT ROD Drag Week! This year, the event is hosting a whopping 400 cars, all subjected to a grueling test over five days of drag racing and more than 1,000 miles to determine who will earn the title Fastest Street Car in America.

Along with attempting to clock the lowest elapsed time at four different drag strips, each racer will also have to drive their car on a specified route from city-to-city, being certain to take photographic evidence along the way that they did indeed adhere to the prescribed route.

The first stop of the competition will be the National Trail Raceway in Hebron, Ohio, which will be open Sunday, Sept. 11 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for registration, tech inspection, and test and tune. Spectators can see the field of competitors as they undergo tech inspection then take the track for some test time prior to the first day of racing, which begins Monday, Sept. 12 on the same track.

Participant Information

While all 400 participant/car slots sold out in less than 20 minutes, participants wishing to be added to a wait list can do so via email. Open spots will be given in order of emails received.

Spectator Information

  • $10 for ages 13 and up for all race days—Sunday, Sept. 11 through Thursday, Sept. 15.
  • $15 for the Finals on Friday, Sept. 16.
  • Kids 12 and under can attend free each day with paid adult.
  • Tickets will be available at each individual track.
